Pastor Lowell Perkins

Pastor Lowell Perkins is a native of Jefferson City and a graduate of Jefferson City High School. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Classical Latin from the University of Missouri, Columbia, with a Minor in Religious Studies, and a Master of Arts degree from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary in Springfield, Missouri. He is an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God.

Pastor Lowell began his ministry at First Assembly as Youth Pastor in 1991, then served as Associate Pastor, and was elected as Pastor in 1993. He has served the Southern Missouri Ministry Network of the Assemblies of God as Sectional Presbyter, Executive Presbyter, Assistant Superintendent, and as a member of the General Presbytery.

Pastor Lowell and his wife Brenda are exceedingly grateful for the privilege of serving amidst the wonderful First Assembly family. They love Jefferson City and the Mid-Missouri area and enjoy the unique opportunity to minister in their home town. They are blessed with two adult children and their families, including three beautiful grandchildren.

Pastor Lowell is additionally blessed with a strong team of pastors and leaders who work alongside him in the ministry at First Assembly, several of whom have served with him for many years. Of course, the greatest delight of the entire leadership team and family at First Assembly is living in the presence and blessing and joy of our Lord as we work to fulfill His calling to reach our community and our world with the life-changing message of Jesus Christ.
