Pastor Lowell Perkins

Pastor Lowell Perkins is a native of Jefferson City and a graduate of Jefferson City High School. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Classical Latin from the University of Missouri, Columbia, with a Minor in Religious Studies, and a Master of Arts degree from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary in Springfield, Missouri. He is an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God.

Pastor Lowell started his ministry at First Assembly as Youth Pastor in 1991, then served as Associate Pastor, and was elected as Pastor in 1993. He has served the Southern Missouri Ministry Network of the Assemblies of God as Sectional Presbyter, Executive Presbyter, Assistant Superintendent, and as a member of the General Presbytery.

Pastor Lowell and his wife Brenda are grateful for the privilege of serving with such a wonderful church family in their hometown. They are blessed with two adult children and their families, including three beautiful grandchildren.

Pastor Lowell is also blessed with a strong team of pastors and leaders who work alongside him in the ministry at First Assembly, several of whom have partnered with him for many years. Together, our team is committed to serving our congregation and reaching our community and our world with the life-changing message of Jesus Christ.
