Friday 4:30-7:45pm… Speaker: Julie Davenport

Julie Perkin Davenport was raised in a pastor’s home, married to a pastor for many years, and is now an ordained minister herself. She is a wife, mom, and grandma and retired teacher and parent educator. In her first marriage to a charismatic and successful pastor, she was forever impacted by the loss of her marriage due to infidelity and abuse while at the same time walking through a difficult journey of cancer with one of her young daughters. She now ministers to others who have been through similar sorrow and trauma and loss by speaking, writing, and meeting with those who are going through times of brokenness and hurt. She is the author of a book called SECRETS IN THE SANCTUARY: One Women’s Journey of Healing after Infidelity and Abuse. Website: julieedavenport.com

Saturday 8:30am-3 pm… Speaker: Heather Gilion

Heather Gilion co-authored the book, Dancing On My Ashes: learning to love the One who gives and takes away. She experienced great tragedy 20 years ago, but now she uses her God-story as a platform to encourage and equip others. Heather has an art ministry called Story Designs. She and her husband, Dallas, serve at LifePoint Church in Ozark, Mo. They have two boys: Noah, 17, and Zachariah, 15
